We built it backwards, starting from the question.
Most scents start with a note. This one started with a reaction.
Before we mixed anything, we knew the single thing we wanted it to do: make a person stop mid-sentence and say, out loud, "wait — what is that?" Not notice it politely. Not clock it and move on. Actually ask. That was the whole brief, and it turned out to be a much harder target than picking nice ingredients.
Because a scent that gets asked about can't just smell good — plenty of good scents get ignored. It has to pull people in.
So we stacked warmth on warmth until it was almost impossible to stand next to and not lean toward.
Cinnamon and nutmeg to spark it, bergamot to lift it, dates and praline and tuberose to make it rich and rounded, and a base of vanilla, tonka and amberwood underneath — warm, sweet, spiced, expensive. Every layer chosen for one job: be the warm room nobody wants to leave. You're wearing the version that finally got the question out loud.
